Fiona Bandy

As a successful high school student from Orange County, California, Fiona Bandy planned to apply to a group of colleges. The only problem? None of the majors at other schools appealed to her. "One unexpected conversation with a lovely FIDM representative at my school’s college night changed everything," says Fiona, the youngest board member for the non-profit organization, Orphan Children of India. 

"FIDM is right for me because it will afford me the opportunity to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in a field that I love, learn from people who are currently working in that world, and strengthen my skills to become the best version of myself," she says. "The idea of learning cutting-edge curriculum from instructors who are immersed in that world is awesome." 

Fiona says one of the highlights of studying at FIDM is being around other creative people. "I hope to grow my YouTube channel, as it brings me pure joy, and ultimately become my own brand. I want to do great things in both big and small ways," she says.
