Nina Jardim Hired To Work on Adidas Entertainment & Influencer Marketing in DTLA

Adidas is one of the latest global fashion leaders to open a world-class office at The ROW in DTLA—and they just hired Merchandise Product Development Grad Nina Jardim to work on their Entertainment and Influencer Marketing Team.

“Influential cities drive trends not only across the U.S. but around the world,” Mark King, president of Adidas North America, told Footwear News. “We’re bringing the best of Adidas to Los Angeles. It’s a hub for entertainment, sport and fashion. It’s home to some of the best teams and athletes in the world. It’s right where we want to be.”

We caught up with the recent grad to find out more about her new position.

Tell us a little about yourself: I recently started working as the Product Marketing Assistant, part of the Entertainment and Influencer Marketing Team (EIM), at Adidas in Los Angeles. The EIM team is responsible for managing Adidas’ seedings and gifting: building/maintaining relationships with ambassadors via exclusive showroom visits and the distribution of product, as well as determining potential assets for future seedings, contacts, and/or collaborations.

What are your responsibilities? My responsibilities as Product Marketing Assistant include brainstorming potential assets for upcoming seedings, pulling product/curating looks that are cohesive with each individual’s brand image for seedings, logging purchase orders upon completion of seedings and showroom visits, and seeing each seeding through to completion—making sure they are out in time, being sent to the appropriate contact using the correct heading/alias (for higher profile clients), etc.

What’s your day-to-day like? As it’s important to meet deadlines and product launch dates, I’m always handling multiple seedings/projects at once. My schedule is full 100% of the time—time management, attention to detail, and staying organized is everything!

The team here is super welcoming and close-knit; I feel very blessed to be a part of it! I’m looking forward to growing with the company, building relationships with my co-workers, and seeing what the future holds.

Anything else you’d like to share? I wouldn’t be here without the support from my FIDM Career Advisor, Simona Williams, who knew this position would be a great fit for me and had me apply the day she saw the job posting on the Career Network!
