Earn an Interior Design Degree at a Top California Design School
In the Interior Design Program, students learn the fundamental creative and practical skills to launch a career as a professional Interior Designer. Interior Design classes cover creating visuals like sketches, floor plans, and rendered presentation drawings. Classroom projects take students into the community where they work on real-world projects: FIDM Students have designed spaces for the Boys & Girls Club of Venice and Orange County's Project Playhouse for the homeless as well as created the design lobby for Elleven Lofts and presented design concepts to IPME/International Port Management Enterprise using shipping containers of customized residential and commercial projects.
Chairing Styles, an exciting collaboration between Interior Design, Fashion Design, and Textile Design students, in cooperation with major furniture manufacturers, fosters new relationships between education and the industry.
