Students learn from instructors with extensive experience, as well as guest speakers representing every segment of the industry. On-site visits to working factories, sample rooms, and key footwear retailers give students practical knowledge of a range of footwear and industry trends. Footwear Design & Development Program graduates are hired at top footwear brands such as TOMS, Skechers, Sam Edelman, and many more, while still others have launched their own footwear collections.
Our Career Center has cultivated a database of thousands of employer contacts nationwide with the singular goal of providing industry-related internships and employment for our students and graduates throughout their careers.
Collaborate with the product development team and product line managers to design footwear for specific target markets.
Work in cooperation with designers and merchandisers to provide design, color and material innovations for development projects.
Oversee footwear product development and production. The Footwear Production Coordinator works closely with all members of the design; product development, merchandising and planning teams, ensuring all tasks are completed by scheduled deadlines.
Support the Product Development Director to ensure that the merchandise assortment and product development process and strategies achieve the agreed upon brand vision.
Works closely with footwear design teams on the design development of 3D virtual samples to design original products.
