    Fashionable Likeness Exhibition at Getty

    Calling all Los Angeles fashion and costume design students plus lovers of British costume dramas and art history: this current exhibition at the Getty is delicious eye candy and inspiration. Called "Fashionable Likeness: Pastel Portraits in 18th century Britain," the small collection focuses on portraits of the newly minted upper class, decked out in their best clothes and accessories. Located in the hills above Malibu and free except for parking, a trip to the Getty is like a mini-vacation. Exhibit open till May 7th.
