Los Angeles-based luxe knitwear label The Elder Statesman has forged a unique collaboration with upscale retailer Barneys for NBA-branded knitwear. The professional basketball association has approved logo-studded sweaters, beanies, and scarves made of the brand's trademark cashmere, sold at luxury prices, exclusively at Barneys. Elder Statesman founder and Creative Director Greg Chait calls the collection The Elder Statesman x NBA and reports that all 30 teams are represented in the first season.
