Please save the date for the upcoming 7th Annual Innovative Materials Conference, which will be held October 31, 2016 to November 4 2016, at the Los Angeles campus, at the Annex, Room A 332. The exhibition will be open Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This year's theme is sustainability.
There will be a special guest speaker event and refreshments on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. in Room A332. Scott Wilson, Vice President of JS Apparel, one of the largest clothing manufacturers in Los Angeles, will discuss sustainable practices in the industry and demonstrate a hands-on 3D human body scanner and measuring system that can be used for custom-made apparel. The scanner eliminates waste, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional apparel production.
