FIDM Students Participate in Denim Educational Program Sponsored by ISKO

March 7, 2016

Sixteen FIDM Students are participating in i-SKOOL, an educational program and competition executed and sponsored by ISKO, the largest premium denim fabric manufacturer in the world. Students from top design schools like FIDM, participate in the multi-session workshop program where they learn about denim from the experts and how to prepare a commercially viable collection. Participants will receive a "mood" for a customer for who they will design a look using ISKO fabrics and Avery Dennison trims. Two of the 16 FIDM Students will be selected as finalists and they will have the opportunity to travel to Europe where their looks will be featured in a runway show among other college finalists. One FIDM Student winner will receive scholarship money and all participants could potentially be offered internships at top fashion brands this fall.
