Graphic Design: Create a Book Jacket
In this activity, students will choose an old book and redesign the cover. Using design elements, they will create a mock-up of their book cover. Students will share how the design reflects the book’s subject and genre, and how the new cover will reach their target audience. Warm-up and follow-up activities are included.

- A selection of books with differing book jackets/cover art
- Art supplies such as: sketchpads, pens, paints, computer graphics
