Retail Design Blog is a fantastic resource for anyone interested in retail design, visual merchandising, branding or related fields. The contributors to the blog have travelled the world to bring back images of cutting edge, innovative shop windows and products, along with information on the creative team behind each. Here is how the founders of the blog describe their mission: "with this blog, we want to assist … the retail designers and visual merchandisers to provide news and information about retail trends and solutions."

The blog is divided into several categories: store design, branding, visual merchandising, hotels & restaurants, exhibit design, office design, furniture, lighting and materials. Within each category, there are photographs of stores and products from around the world. For example, we can see the recent remodel of the Adidas store in New York, alongside a trendy new maternity store called Mom & Me in Dubai. The branding section features products like Mochi Toys from Japan and the high–end Greek liquor, Ouzo Thonkis. There is also an "Eco" section which highlights sustainable design in all fields from around the world, like the "Bubble Chandelier," a gorgeous light fixture made in New York from two-liter soda bottles.

Retail Design Blog offers a free newsletter, as well as a very useful search feature, so that one can find images of specific brands or stores easily. This site is truly a boon for all who need to keep up with the latest in global retail design and visual merchandising.
