The French version of abc Vogue xyz is edgier, hipper, and more subversive than American abc Vogue xyz . On the May 2007 cover, actress Sophie Marceau’s delicate lace bra slyly peeks out of her androgynous Yves Saint Laurent shirt. And while American abc Vogue xyz hails celebrities, Paris abc Vogue xyz focuses purely on fashion. You don’t have to be fluent to enjoy the photography of Mario Testino, Terry Richardson, and Patrick Demarchelier, or the creative direction of Fabien Baron. Possibly the best contribution to the magazine is that of its iconic, and much-copied editor, Carine Roitfeld. Roitfeld once said: “My goal is not to follow trends, but to anticipate them, sense them, even to create them.” This explains why Paris abc Vogue xyz is the source of information for what’s new in abc la mode xyz .

Paris abc Vogue xyz is my personal favorite of the hundreds of magazines the library subscribes to. When I can’t get enough of its pages, I turn to its companion web site, http://www.vogue.fr, where there are runway show photographs, an address book of places to eat and shop in Paris, and book reviews. Vive French abc Vogue xyz !
