The Avant/Garde Diaries is a "digital interview magazine" published by Daimler AG, parent company of Mercedes–Benz. Entries focus on people who are doing or creating things considered to be innovative or ahead of their time. Each post consists of a black and white video interview with a successful person from a creative field (e.g., filmmaker, chef, artist), along with a short biography, a link to more information about the person, and credits for the video.
"Overview" is the main page where all interviews are accessible. You can filter the entries by the following tags: Design, Film, Mobility, Fashion, and Music. Interviews can also be filtered by the type of media: Audio, Picture, Video. The Event section lists past and upcoming exhibits and festivals that have been organized by The Avant/Garde Diaries Project. Finally, there is a Blog section with a handful of entries, mostly discussing The Avant/Garde Diaries events and exhibits.
There are also links to sign up for their newsletter and to follow them on Facebook (facebook.com/THE AVANTGARDEDIARIES) and Twitter (@AVGD_DIARIES).
