You can follow a bunch of blogs and still not know half the stuff PSFK readers know about design innovation. Did you hear that Google and Adidas teamed up to make a talking, tweeting shoe? You can watch a video of a guy playing basketball in these hi–tech hi–tops at PSFK.com!

Trend reporting services can be expensive. Fortunately, you can be trend watching on your own with some of the blogs we recommend. PSFK, a self–described "go–to source of new ideas and inspiration" is a great place to start. Read it so you will be able to tell your friends about cool things like chocolate postage stamps, coming soon to Belgium! (More like BelgYUM!)

You can follow PSFK in a number of ways. Their Twitter feed is highly recommended, but you can also find them on Facebook and Google Plus. For those of you into email newsletters and RSS feeds, you can choose among nine different topics, including Fashion, Retail and Food & Drink.

So who is PSFK and why are they giving away all this stuff for free? PSFK is a professional consulting services firm and publisher. They hold an annual PSFK Conference and sell reports like The Future of Retail, which you can purchase on their website or, better yet, request from your library! In the meantime, watch a video of mannequins that mimic passing shoppers in Japan.
