Accreditation
FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising is a proprietary college incorporated under the laws of the State of California. The Associate of Arts programs are accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), 415.506.0234, 10 Commercial Boulevard, Suite 204, Novato, CA, 94949, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. FIDM's art and design programs are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), 703.437.0700, 11250 Bacon Drive, Suite 21, Reston, VA 20190. The Bachelor of Science in Business Management (B.S.) Program is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), 510.748.9001, 985 Atlantic Avenue #100, Alameda, CA 94501.

Approved for Veterans and Vocational Rehabilitation
FIDM is approved by the California State Approving Agency for Veterans Education for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education for the training of veterans and for qualified students certified by the California Vocational Rehabilitation Administration.
International Students

Instructional Programs
FIDM certifies that all courses numbered 1000 and higher are collegiate level and recommends acceptance for transfer to the California State Universities and other universities and colleges.
