Who can attend?

This event is open to all high school students, with limited spaces for sophomores and freshmen.

How much does 3 Days of Fashion cost?

The cost of 3 Days of Fashion is $300.00 per student.

Does the fee include lodging and transportation?

Lodging and transportation to and from 3 Days of Fashion are not included. For information about hotels located in the surrounding areas of the campus, please visit our hotel information page.

What are the program hours?

3 Days of Fashion hours vary from campus to campus. Please check the agenda of the campus you wish to attend for the program hours. Give yourself plenty of time to park and walk to your campus destination Plan on arriving 30 minutes before the official start of each day.

Are meals included?

Yes, meals are provided every day (at no extra cost).

  • Orange County: June 23 – 25, 2014
  • San Francisco: June 24 – June 26, 2014
  • Los Angeles: June 26 – 28, 2014
  • San Diego: June 30 – July 2, 2014

All campuses offer similar programs and workshops. However, the daily activities vary as they are planned uniquely for each campus.

What are the program details?

Each day consists of hands-on workshops and guest speakers from the fashion, merchandising, and marketing industries. Please preview the agendas.

Can my parents attend with me?

We are always happy to see parents at 3 Days of Fashion ! They are invited to attend Day 1 of the Parent Program to learn more about FIDM and to get answers to all their questions relating to the admissions process, financial aid, housing, the Bachelor's and Associates degree programs, and the 22 majors offered at FIDM. There is no charge for Day 1.

Parents can also participate in days 2 & 3 of the Parent Programs for a $65 registration fee. Details are provided on the Parent programs page.

What is the last day to register for this event?

Space is extremely limited and can fill up quickly. The registration deadlines for the campuses are as follows:

  • Orange County: June 2, 2014
  • San Francisco: June 3, 2014
  • Los Angeles: June 5, 2014
  • San Diego: June 9, 2014

All information must be received by the deadline of the campus you will be attending. Cancellations accepted before the registration deadline receive a $250 refund. No refunds will be issued for any cancellations after the registration deadline of the campus you will be attending.

How do I register for this event?

You can register online! Just go to the RSVP page and choose your campus of interest to reserve a space.

Students Please Note: You will need to submit the Parent/Guardian Release Form. We will notify you once your payment has been confirmed.

What if I can't attend 3 Days of Fashion?

If you cannot attend the 3 Days of Fashion but want to know more about FIDM, request more information about FIDM and all of our exciting majors!

What do I wear?

Several of our workshops include the use of paints and other mediums. You may not want to wear your favorite outfits in case of any spills. Please be aware that clothing should be college appropriate and not be too short or revealing. You will also have the opportunity to take a photo with Nick Verreos on day 3, so please keep this in mind when getting ready.

If I'm coming with a friend, can we be in the same group?

Yes. If you are coming with a friend, please call Mayra Rubio at 800-262-3436 X1726 to make this arrangement.

Do I need to bring money?

There are numerous shopping opportunities at 3 Days of Fashion: the FIDM Scholarship Store, Museum Shop, and the Student Store. There is a local commercial district in Orange County called Fashion Island, the unique village of La Jolla in San Diego. The shopping mecca in San Francisco known as Union Square, and the California Market Center in Los Angeles. To feel most prepared, please refer to the program agenda of your preferred campus for destination details. You might even decide to bring a dollar or two in case you crave a snack from the vending machines or café

Do I need to bring supplies?

No, all supplies are provided.
