Applied Trend Forecasting – Transforming by Rachel Vrbka and Adrienne Le. Macro trends are interpreted for specific product categories, color and textile forecasting with an awareness of the target customer. From these forecasts trend boards are then created.

Strategic Brand Management – Tiffany’s designed by YuPing Chao, Melissa Dawn Tedesco, and Katherine Maryann Martinez.

Promotion in the Merchandising Environment – Little Hands. Students create an integrated marketing communications campaign that includes the appropriate advertising, PR, direct mail and marketing events to reach the desired target market.

Merchandise Presentation – Bridal Salon designed by Raychel Robinson. This quarter-long project challenges the student to define the target market conceptually and apply various merchandising presentation techniques including theories of color, customer appeal, mannequin usage and lighting for a retail space and the floor plan.

Concepts in Trend Forecasting – Hippie Revival designed by Dana Forman. Current events, new and unusual businesses, innovative products and shifts in attitudes are researched and interpreted into viable macro trends.

Merchandise Buying – Assortment Plan designed by Audrey Ramariz. A buyer must be able to visualize what the store's merchandise mix will include. Once the trend decisions are made, the buyer prepares a budget for the assortment that determines what will be spent each month by classification.

Strategic Brand Management – Target designed by Hailee Chung, Jackie Bristos, and Lindsey Mann. What makes "Tar-Zhay" so special? Students interpret the factors that establish a Brand Identity, Personality and Positioning.

Contemporary Business Strategies – Avatars. What will retail look like in 2015? As online stores become the single largest retail outlet for any organization, the industry continues to explore new contemporary strategies to maximize the customer's experience and sustain growth.

Promotion in the Merchandising Environment – Back to School by Raychel Robinson. Various message strategies are created for the targeted media: advertising, direct marketing, social media, public relations, sales promotion and special events.

Marketing Essentials – Concept Board designed by Brian Steier. In the Merchandise Marketing courses target markets are researched both analytically and creatively to better understand consumer behavior.
