FIDM Graduate Danielle Thaxton was named Best U.S.A. Designer, awarded by Ralph Lauren, at the 2016 ISKO I-SKOOL™ Gran Finale denim competition, which featured more than 50,000 students from some of the best colleges and universities around the world. Danielle was recently interviewed in Vogue Italia (scroll down to read the Q&A), accompanied by a slideshow of her designs.
She tells the magazine: "My experience at FIDM has been an amazing journey. Both my first AA in Product Development and my second [degree] in International Manufacturing has prepared me for the industry I am about to get into. I couldn’t have made it has far as I have without the relationships I built through FIDM weather that be the teachers that helped guild me or the friends I made along the way that supported me and pushed me to be the best I could be."
