Sunrise Brands

Sunrise Brands, a private label manufacturer that owns Kitson and produces garments for Torrid and Charlotte Russe, among other companies, was a recent mentor for FIDM's IMPD students as they developed products for clothing lines Kitson, NO!, and Torrid. Read More

Pacific Sunwear

When IMPD students were challenged with creating a line of surf and skate lifestyle apparel, including new uniforms, FIDM turned to industry partner PacSun. The theme for the challenge was "Airwaves" and the team of students credit music, freedom, and movement as inspiration for the casual lifestyle collection they created for PacSun's Pre-Pro Surf Team. JCPenney

Working alongside industry partner JCPenney for nine months gave IMPD students a glimpse at how large companies produce for the masses. They met JCPenney designers at the company's headquarters in Plano, Texas and traveled to Europe and Asia for research. Read More

Lee Wrangler

Twelve dedicated FIDM Students embarked on the experience of a lifetime as they began the International Manufacturing and Product Development (IMPD) program. A past IMPD program partner was VF Corporation, owners of Lee and Wrangler brand jeans. Read More

Cherokee

Industry partner Cherokee worked every step of the way with the thirteen students in this specialized program as they traveled to Milan, Paris, and Hong Kong while learning how to develop and manufacture an apparel line for the American lifestyle brand’s new French consumers. “Our goal was to provide a challenging, yet supportive environment for the students,” explained Howard Siegel, President & COO of Cherokee.
