    Observant Muslim Teen Signs with IMG

    Halima Aden, the Minnesota teenager who wore a hijab in her state's Miss USA pageant, has been signed by a major model agency, IGM. Her first runway show is Kanye West's Yeezy show at New York's Fashion Week. "I want to spread a positive message about beauty and diversity, and to show other Muslim women there is room for them," she tells Business of Fashion. The Somali-American model has also been chosen by Carine Roitfeld to represent Paris in her next edition of CR fashion book.
