Associate of Arts
Associate of Arts Programs are designed for high school graduates or applicants with strong GED test scores. These programs offer the highly specialized curriculum of a specific major, as well as a traditional liberal arts/general studies foundation:
Associate of Arts Professional Designation
Professional Designation Programs are concentrated programs for individuals who have substantial academic and professional experience in a discipline and who wish to add a new field of specialization. These are programs of intensive study in one of the college's specialized majors that culminate in the awarding of an Associate of Arts degree. Students from other regionally accredited degree programs have the opportunity to complement their previous education by enrolling in a Professional Designation Program. Programs are offered in the following majors:
Associate of Arts Advanced Study
Associate of Arts Advanced Study Programs develop specialized expertise in the student's unique area of study. Admission is limited to candidates who possess a prior degree in a related discipline. A prior FIDM degree is required for admission to the following programs:
The Bachelor of Science in Business Management
The Bachelor of Science in Business Management Program is a comprehensive study program for FIDM Associate of Arts graduates who desire to enhance their education in the areas of Global Management and Entrepreneurship. Admission is limited to FIDM graduates who have demonstrated strong academic capability.
Note: All students must complete the foundational A.A. or A.A.P.D. degree. Students are then prepared to successfully compete in the industry or advance to the Bachelor's. Occasionally, FIDM degreed students further elect to pursue an A.A. Advanced Study or A.A. Professional Designation Program in additional FIDM majors, as well as the Bachelor of Science Program.
Due to recent changes issued by the US Department of Education regarding state approval for distance learning, students in some states may not be eligible for FIDM's eLearning program. No assumptions of availability should be made on the part of the student until checking with FIDM's eLearning Department.
