A Word from the Vice-President of Education

Hello, I'm Barbara Bundy, Vice President of Education here at FIDM. Welcome to FIDM's Virtual Campus.

The curriculum at FIDM is determined by members of the Advisory Board and current trends in the retail industry. Our Advisory Board is made up of over one hundred industry representatives from all phases of the majors we teach here at FIDM. Because of their encouragement towards globalization and the influence of contemporary developments in the retail industry, we decided to add FIDM's Virtual Campus, starting off with the Professional Designation program in Merchandise Marketing.

My challenge to each and every one of you is to become thoroughly involved with FIDM. We offer you the combination of the theoretical knowledge which you will gain through your virtual classroom experience and the cumulative industry experience of our instructors. We challenge you to complement that with the experience you will get by working in the industry while you are a student with us.

Additionally we offer you many services, including the FIDM Library which is the largest of its kind in the world. We have an excellent Career Development Center which can help you with job placement and setting career objectives and goals. There is also advisement for you in all areas of your educational experience here with us.
