All FIDM campuses are located in key cities with many public transportation options available to meet students' needs. For information on selective transportation schedules, student discounts on public transportation, and directions, students should see their Student Activities Department.

Parking Information

Parking is not guaranteed and fees may be applicable. Students should see the Student Activities Department for parking information for their campus and surrounding community.

Bookstore

The FIDM Store stocks college-related reference books, supplies, notebooks, art materials, trade publications, stationery, cards and gifts. The store also sells FIDM branded clothing, accessories, tote bags, and gifts made especially for FIDM. The LA campus is an authorized Apple Reseller and offers a complete selection of Apple Computers, Ipods, software, and computer accessories. The bookstore hours are posted on each campus. Tote Bags

A FIDM tote bag will be provided to students during the first quarter of each academic year. Tote bag distribution days and hours are posted quarterly. Additional FIDM tote bags may be purchased in the FIDM Store.

Museum & Galleries

The FIDM Museum & Galleries houses a 12,000 piece collection of couture, ready-to-wear and non-western garments and accessories that span 200 years; including the Gianni Versace Menswear and Rudi Gernreich Archives, and the Hollywood Costume Collection of the City of Los Angeles. The Museum & Galleries provide students, educators, scholars, industry personnel, and visitors with useful resources to examine the roles that historic dress and textiles play within various world cultures. The collections are sustained using standard museum practices for continued acquisition and preservation, with a focus on education, exhibition, outreach, and volunteer programs. The Museum holds the Annette Green Perfume Museum, America's only museum dedicated to the historical and cultural roles of fragrance around the world. Museum Shop

The FIDM Museum Shop, located next to the FIDM Museum & Galleries, features unique and one-of-a-kind jewelry, accessories, home décor, and books. Many of these distinctive pieces are designed by FIDM faculty, alumni, and students. Contact the Los Angeles Campus for shop hours. Health Information

Each campus provides minor first-aid supplies, as well as non-FIDM student health insurance options, even though FIDM does not have a health office or a nurse's center. Students should see their campus receptionist for the specific location of the minor first-aid supplies. Links to health insurance options are available on the FIDM Portal. Students may also see Student Activities for non-FIDM health insurance brochures and other health information.

Student Lounge

Each FIDM campus has a Student Lounge. This is a place to eat lunch, catch up on homework, get information, participate in campus events and activities, or to just relax. Microwaves and vending machines are also available for student use.

Student Photo Identification Cards

Every current student must have a FIDM student photo ID card and must wear it while on campus. This card is required for access to any FIDM campus, and it also allows you to check out books in the Library, purchase California attraction tickets, and facilitate getting student discounts around town.

Lost & Found

Each campus has a lost and found. Students should see the receptionist on their campus.
