At FIDM's Digital Media & Graphic Design Boot Camp for high school students, you'll get an inside look at how Designers are transforming the movie industry.

Post-production technology is evolving every day, and studios know they've got to keep up. In this day-long workshop, you'll be on the cutting edge of what's happening behind the scenes and in the editing bay. Put on your digital post hat and edit an actual scene from a movie using the industry standard Final Cut Pro, along with high-performance tools like Motion, Color, and Soundtrack Pro. They give new meaning to having power in Hollywood.

On the second day, it's all about the buzz. The sizzle. Selling the movie is just as important as making it, and that's where the Graphic Designer comes in. Studios depend on eye-catching billboards, bus shelters, and print ads to get you amped about their movies. So what works and what doesn't? Find out, and create a movie poster for the movie you edited on Day 1, working with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Because great graphic design can be the secret to a movie's success and yours.
