FIDM Theatre Costume Design Students Featured in DEBUT 2008 Runway Show

FIDMs Advanced Study Program in Theatre Costume Design is an intense, concentrated program that encompasses the many aspects of Theatrical Costume from the legitimate stage to film, television, and video.

Each year, the artistic students in the Theatre Costume Design Program create elaborate costumes for the opening of FIDMs DEBUT Runway Show. For the DEBUT 2008 Runway Show, the clever group designed colorful ensembles inspired by the magic of Can-Can. This years Theatre Costume Design students were Junlyn Delas Alas, Kristin Hemsley, Kat Phuong Kim Ho, Carolyn Jamerson, and Mikael Saharfyan.

The FIDM DEBUT Runway Show also features designs from students in the Fashion Design Advanced Study Program and work from Interior Design, Graphic Design, and Textile Design students.
