The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising is proud to present the spectacular L.A. Fashion Gala, Debut 2001. The event showcases the work of FIDM's third-year Advanced Study program graduates in Fashion Design and Theatre Costume. Each Fashion Design student presents a collection based on personal aesthetic choices with principles and design skills learned at FIDM. Theatre Costume Design students conclude their three-year intense education with the design and construction of a costume based on a theme. This year the theme is "2001: A Space Odyssey."
