Lilia created a postmodern, de-constructivist interpretation of the mechanical songbird from Stravinsky's The Nightingale, based on Hans Christian Anderson's cherished fairy tale. The fabrics used to create this unusual and exotic songbird include plastics, metallics, velvets, boning, feathers and found metallic objects.

The Queen of the Night from Mozart's The Magic Flute, has been created in tiers of sunburst pleating in midnight tones. This dazzling assemblage of jewels, sequins, and metallic fabrics lights up the night sky and shimmers in concert with the famous arias.

Lauren has created a voluminous hooped gown for the celebrated Violetta in Verdi's La Traviata. Yards of rich lavender silk swirl about the tragic heroine during the famous 'drinking song' from Act I.

Erda, the earth goddess, from Wagner's Das Rheingold (The Ring of The Nibelungs), rises form the earth, tree-like and statuesque in her feminity. Heather has sculpted the sensuous costume in raw silk, illusion, flowers, and foam bark.

Dressed in full regalia, the Pharaoh of Egypt greets the Triumphal Entry Procession in Act II of Verdi's Aida. Enrique has created a spectacular cape appliqued in gold metallics. When his wings are spread, the symbolic Phoenix appears to reign over the activities. Motifs, jewels, and fabrics are evocative of a cherished ancient culture.

The ice princess Turandot was created by Rie for Puccini's Turnadot. Unique Chinese brocades were imported by the designer to create a fantastical interpretation for the legendary princess. Applique and trapunto techniques were used to create this stunning costume.
