Interior Design

The Advanced Study Design Specialties Program in Interior Design was created as a response to the growth and complexity of the interior design profession. Building upon a foundation of solid skills, the student will have the opportunity to advance the Residential, Commercial and Product Design disciplines in depth. First hand experience through industry collaboration, community service and participation in field study projects, will enhance the student experience.

This nine month program starts each Fall.
Prerequisites: FIDM degree in Interior Design.
Some programs offered may require completion of a second year at the Los Angeles or San Francisco campus.

Effective with the starting class of Summer 2011 all students enrolled in Interior Design will be required to have their own computers loaded with the software taught in the Interior Design major. Specification sheets detailing the requirements for both hardware and software will be available from your Admissions Advisor. Hardware and software will be available through the FIDM Store on the Los Angeles Campus.
