Shannon Figgins
In her debut collection for FIDM 2005, Shannon Marie Figgins designed a women's collection inspired by the sophistication of the 1930s and the drama of the film The Matrix. A combination of masculine tailoring and feminine touches, Shannon's "Ultima" collection unites the characteristics of by gone eras with modern fabric combinations and dramatic cuts. Chanel tweeds, plush shearling, lynx fur, and fluid silks comprise the fabrications. The result: modern vintage played out in chocolate browns, peachy pinks, and oyster gray mixed with turquoise and duck egg blues.
