La Fashion Gala, Debut '97

The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising was proud to once again host the spectacular L.A. Fashion Gala, Debut '97.

The event showcased the work of graduates of FIDM's third-year Advanced Study Programs in Fashion Design and Theatre Costume Design. The Fashion Design students each presented a collection based on the aesthetic principles and design skills they learned during their three years at FIDM.

Each Theatre Costume Design student concluded their three-year intense education with the design and construction of a costume within the theme of "Goddesses of the Silver Screen."

As in past years, the formal black-tie affair was attended by hundreds of Fashion and Entertainment industry decision-makers. FIDM is honored to graduate the students whose work is featured in this page.
