The 2010 National Scholarship Competition has concluded.

Win a full one-year scholarship to attend FIDM!

The competition was open to all High School Seniors and Graduates, FIDM’s National Scholarship Competition looks for students who are creative thinkers and have an “eye” for unconventional thinking. To enter, entrants were asked to submit a project according to the guidelines set within each category:

  • Fashion Executive of Tomorrow
  • Interior Designer of Tomorrow
  • Graphic Designer of Tomorrow
  • Fashion Designer of Tomorrow
  • Visual Designer of Tomorrow
  • Digital Media Artist of Tomorrow

A winner will be picked within each category based on creativity, thoughtfulness, presentation, and promise.*  Winners will be notified July 2010 and will also be featured in our Scholarship Winner’s Gallery.

Here was a description of projects developed by students just like you for this awesome competition: creating a promotional plan for a major fashion retailer; designing a series of posters promoting a certain event; creating the ideal bedroom for a young couple; or designing a new clothing line for the next era of fashionistas.

The competition deadline was May 15, 2010.

* All Entrants MUST be either a U.S. Citizen or have Permanent Resident status. The competition is not open to current or former FIDM Students. FIDM reserves the right not to award the scholarship in any of the categories if none of the submitted entries fulfill the criteria outlined in the Project Guidelines.
